Mrs. Dorothy M. Evans transitioned on July 19, 2016, at LifeCare Hospital in Shreveport, LA.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2016, 10:00 AM, at Light of the World Community Church of God.  

Interment will follow on Monday, July 25, at Clayton Garden of Rest, Clayton, LA.

Open Visitation will be held between the hours of 12:00 & 8:00 PM on Friday, July 22, at Heavenly Gates.

She was a retired teacher for Caddo Parish School System. 

She is survived by her brother; Will McCarthy Jr. (Thelma), sisters; Gloria Green (Cedric) and Sadie Foster, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
