Graveside service will be 11 a.m., Saturday, July 11, 2020 at Pine Grove Cemetery. Open visitation will be from 10 to 4 p.m. Friday at Heavenly Gates.
Precious Alyse Gray-Brown, a business analyst and small business owner, received her wings unexpectantly on June 29, 2020 at the age of 39.
Precious was baptized at age 7 by Pastor Danny Mitchell at New Elizabeth B. C.
She was born in Shreveport, La on August 20, 1979 to Billy Ray Gray and Joyce Gray. She graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in 1997 and attended Itawamba Junior College on a basketball scholarship. Later after relocating to Houston she attended Houston Community College where she graduated in 2009 with a degree in Business Administration. She worked as a business analyst for Acclera Solutions and Enthem Inc. of Houston, TX. and she was also the proud owner of Precious Boutique.
After several glorious years of love, friendship, and making memories, on August 21, 2007 she married the love of her life, Michael Brown. May 23, 2002 and October 21, 2003 respectively they welcomed their two handsome sons who were the most important part of their lives.
Precious was a devoted wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunt and businesswoman. She enjoyed sports, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She spent her free time mentoring, coaching, and providing support in her SIBO (Small Independent Business Owners) Facebook group that she created with over 23K members.
Precious is survived by her parents Joyce C. Robert and Billy Ray Gray and loving stepfather Michael Robert; her Husband Michael Brown Sr.; her sons Michael Brown Jr. and Robert Brown; her stepdaughter ShaDarrius Williams; her sisters Nicole (Otis) Washington, Catina Powell, and Bershana Marston; brothers Shawntuaze (Lorali) Carter and Nicholas Gray; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother Undray Carter, her grandmothers Easter Roque and Georgia Tucker; grandfathers Leroy Roque and John Henry Carter; great grandmothers and great grandfathers.
