Mrs. Nell Francine McGee "Zahkia"

Nell Francine McGee  passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at her home that she shared with her longtime companion and best friend, Khaaliis Cherry.  She will be lovingly missed by her children, Theodora A. McGee and Richard B. McGee (Flatonia); grandchildren:  Theodore E.  (Scoota) Gurley; Rashaun A. McGee; Flaquarvea (Neke) Montgomery; Richard Lucas; Stormie L. Gurley, Kwaume McGee and Brianna Jacobs; aunt:  Sadie Ruth Green, great grandchildren, loving brothers and sisters, and a host of relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore McGee, mother, Mary A. Blocker and father, Frank Jamerson.

We will be CELEBRATING the life of Nell "Francine" McGee as follows:  Open visitation at Heavenly Gates Funeral Home, 1339 Jewell Street, Thursday, September 27, noon - 6:00 pm.  Services will be held on Friday, September 28 at 11:00 am at Stonewall Baptist Church, 807 Eatman Street, Bossier City, LA.  Interment will be at Carver Cemetery, 498 Kennie Street, Shreveport, LA
