Graveside service will be 12 noon, Monday, September 27, 2021 at Lake Zion Cemetery. Open visitation will be from 12 to 4 p.m., Sunday at Heavenly Gates.
Juanetta Milton French affectionately know as "PeeWee" was born on August 17, 1959 in Shreveport. The last child born to the late Samuel Boyd and Lula Milton. She loved decorating and was know for keeping an immaculate home with pleasant aromas. She enjoyed cooking meals filled with loved. Her favorite past time was spending time and bonding with her family. She was an amazing mother and grandmother with compassion and wisdom beyond her years. The void left by her passing can never be filled or dulled. Her memories and all that she taught us will be treasured forever. She worshipped the most high unto the day of her death and we believe that he has said well done. She is absent from the body and present with him. She was married to Edward Thomas for 14 years and to this union two children was born. Edward Thomas Jr and Erica Washington. Although she only had two biological children, she was considered a mother figure to many. She later met and married Brandon French. They spent 11 wonderful years together only separated by her departure from this life. She is preceded in death by her sister; Patricia Pennywell and her nephew Morris Caldwell. Forever holding dear to her memory; Brandon French, her husband., two children; Edward (Adriana) Thomas, Jr. and Erica (Kenneth) Washington, four grandchildren; Kaiden Washington, Kaleb Thomas, Ja'kayla Washington and Kaison Washington, one brother; Morris Lee Caldwell, two sisters; Sandra McShan and Vanessa Jacobs, a host of nieces nephews , other relatives and friends.
