Mrs. Josephine Clay

On behalf of the Management and Staff of Heavenly Gates Funeral Home, in conjunction with the Clay Family, we announce the celebration of life honoring Mrs. Josephine Clay.

Mrs. Clay will lie in state for visitation on Friday, January 2, 2026, between the hours of 11:00 am. - 4:00 p.m., at New Bethel Baptist Church in Shreveport, Louisiana with family hour being held from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m.

The celebration of life will commence on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 11:00 am, in the sanctuary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 200 Carroll Street, Shreveport, Louisiana.
