Mrs. Billie Jean Webster

On that precious day the Heavenly Father God opened the pearly gates of Heaven looking down to confirm her name in the “Lamb Book of Life” stating, “Well done my good and faithful servant;” then Billie Jean Mosley Webster entered into eternal rest at 5:02 pm on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at Spring Lake Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  She was 91 years blessed.

Billie Jean Mosley Webster was born on August 18, 1934 in Red River Parish to Allier Mae Mosley and Joe Levingston, Sr.  Billie accepted Christ at an early age and for many years was an active member at Temple of Vision Baptist Church, where she enjoyed singing in the choir and working with the Youth Department.  She later joined Hurricane Bluff Baptist Church where she served as an honorary Deaconess and subsequently gained the loving title of “Church Mother.” She remained there until her transition to her heavenly home.

Billie was a God-fearing servant who could eloquently speak her mind and command your presence with her anecdotes, jokes and comical wit. All who met her instantly fell in love with her beautiful spirit, her rousing and comical readings, and her grace and humor.

She was a proud 1952 graduate of the mighty Booker T. Washington High School, one of the first classes to enter the new edifice.  Following graduation, she attended Southern University Baton Rouge where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education.  She later obtained her Master of Education degree from Grambling State University.  Her first teaching position as a Physical Education Instructor was at her first love, Booker T. Washington High School.  She later transferred to Linear High School, then subsequently transferred to Northwood High School, where she retired in 1986 with over 25 years of service as a Physical Education professional.

Billie was formerly married to Bobby Clyde Davis; to this union two children were born, Ronald and Regina Davis (White).  She later united in holy matrimony with Wallace Joe Webster, and they remained married for 47 years until his heavenly departure.

Billie was preceded in death by her Mother, Allier Mae (Stills) Moffett; her husband, Wallace Joe Webster; her Son, Ronald Craig Davis; Grandson, Ronald Craig Davis II; and Granddaughter, Tiana Aola Davis.

Left to cherish her precious memories are her Daughter, Regina D. White (Cedric); Grandson, Eric R. Jordan, Sr. (Karolethea); Grandson, Jeremy G. Frazier; Granddaughter, Brittany A. Clay (Clarence); Daughter-in-Law, Diane B. Davis; Bonus Grandson, Joshua P. White (Alician); thirteen great grandchildren (Trevon, Kobe, Eric Jr., Elijah, A’mya, Blake, Bailey, Chantel, Khloe, Christian, Akemas, Avery, Jourdan); one great grand cat (Sir Kibbles Frazier) and a host of beloved relatives and friends, including her dear friend since elementary school, Ms. Barbara Holliway; and her close friend in Christ and life, Minister Brenda Shivers.
