Mrs. Ida B. Johnson Green

Celebration of life services for Mrs. Ida B. Johnson Green, 81, on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of New Birth Baptist Church, 836 North Market Street. 

Mrs. Green will rest on Monday, June 11, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the gardens of the Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, Keithville, Louisiana. Open visitation will be Friday at Heavenly Gates.

Mrs. Green was born on November 20, 1936 in Shreveport, Louisiana to the late Henderson Thomas, Jr. and Annie B. Cash Thomas. She was the fourth born child and oldest girl.  

She is survived by her daughters: Betty Jo (Donald Ray) James and Margaret Ann (Hugh Wayne) Williams, Brothers: Jerry (Reda) Thomas, and George Thomas, Sister: Vera Softleigh.

She also leaves to cherish her memories 5 grandsons, 9 grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
