Mr. Larry Cunningham

Mr. Larry Bee Cunningham, 86, passed away peacefully at Springlake Senior Care on March 26, 2019.  Graveside Service will be held at 2 p.m, Sunday, March 31, 2019 at Pleasant Hill Methodist Cemetery, 2507 Andy McCollum Rd. Texarkana, Arkansas, 71854.

Larry was born June 7, 1932 in Miller County, Arkansas to Oscar Onnie and Lillian Beene Cunningham.  He was predeceased by his wife of 52 years, Martha Charlene Jones Cunningham, parents, and four brothers.  

He is survived by two sisters, four sisters-in-law, his children: Carla Tynes and husband, Dr. Russell Tynes, Carol Bruno and  Larry M. Cunningham and wife Carole, eight grandchildren, fourteen  great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

He had a passion for hunting, fishing, and hard work! Having demonstrated that hard work, by retiring from Exxon, Louisiana Department of Corrections and Louisiana Downs Security. He was a proud Veteran of  Korea and never faltered in his love for God and Country.

The family wishes to thank Stat Home Health, Mrs. Lou Gertha Williams personal attendant team; Lora Peyton, Rosalyn Mitchell, Dorothy Brown, Janice Johnson, Ruby Green and the Rehab team at Springlake  Senior Care.  A very special thank you to his son-in-law Dr. Russell Tynes and his staff for their many years of compassionate care.
