On behalf of the SMBC Young Adult ministry we would like to let you know that we are praying for strength during this time. We also pray for peace and understanding. Losing a loved one is never easy and we hope that you find comfort in knowing that God is your stronghold.

Another one of our sisters and friend has crossed over to the other side. I pray for this family who was not just a neighborhood family. Because for us who grew up Crosstown. We all were family just living in different homes. All of our mother, grandmothers and aunts reared us up as family. So when one is taken we mourn as one. So I asked God to send strength, comfort and love during this time for her immediate family and son. Jesus for me catch every one of their tears because they are prayers when words are gone. Place them close in Your Loving Hand and Heart. Jesus will see you all through this time of loss and give you the strength that you need. Rest on Karessa (bka) Lil Momma.

Please accept my condolences on your loss: Jesus said at Matthew 5:4 “Happy are those who mourn, since they will be comforted.” We mourn because we live in a distressing world where we lose our loved ones. We’re comforted by assurances found in the Holy Bible such as at John 5:28, 29 and Acts 24:15 that tell us we can see our loved ones again.
