Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2017, 11:00 AM, at Antioch Baptist Church, Rodessa, Louisiana.  

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Open visitation will be held on Friday, December 8, at Heavenly Gates Funeral Home.

Ruby Lee (Stewart) Johnson of Rodessa, Louisiana, born April 16, 1932, passed away on December 1, 2017 in Shreveport, LA. She is survived by her sister, Darline Riley of Richmond, California, daughter, Joyce M Lawrence of Shreveport, LA, son, Brenis Johnson of Houston TX, grandchildren William Thompkins II of Houston, TX, Selwyn Hinton of Atlanta, GA, Lashone & Clarence Edward Lawrence Jr, Lauren Ruth Lawrence of Houston TX, Christopher Johnson of Waco, TX along with a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Varee Cary, two sons Clarence Edward Lawrence, Sr. and Glenn Edward Lawrence and grandson, Kevin Franks all of Houston, Texas.
