Mrs. Gussie Jean Edwards transitioned on April 24, 2017, at Willis Knighton Pierremont Medical Center in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2017, 1:00 PM, in the Chapel of Heavenly Gates Funeral Home, 1339 Jewell Street.  

Interment will follow in Greenwood Memorial Cemetery in Greenwood.

Open visitation will be held between the hours of 12:00 & 8:00 PM on Friday, May 5, at Heavenly Gates Funeral Home.
