Mr. Johnny Johnson, 71, transitioned on July 23, 2016, at Willis Knighton North Health Center in Shreveport.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 29, 2016, 11:00 AM, at Mount Olive Baptist Church in Greenwood, LA.  Rev. Marcus Ellison, officiating.

Interment will follow in Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery at 1:00 PM.

Open visitation between the hours of 12:00 & 7:00 PM on Thursday, July 28, at Heavenly Gates Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife; Mrs. Maxine L. Johnson, son; Justin D. Johnson (Vanessa), 2 sisters, 1 brother, 3 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
