Mr. Jimmie R. Speed transitioned on September 21, 2016, at Christus Highland Medical Center in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2016, 11:00 AM, at Mount Olive Baptist Church on Turner Lane. Pastor Bernard Kimble, officiating.
Interment will follow in Carver Memorial Cemetery.
The Family will receive friends between the hours of 6:00 & 7:00 PM on Monday, September 26, at Heavenly Gates Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Speed; sons, Jimmie Jr., and Alonzo; daughters, Deborah, Carolyn, Sharon, and Sandra; grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
