On April 10, 2018 at 6:45 a.m., God in his wisdom called from labor to reward James Joseph Fredrick.
Born in Forbing, LA, to Joe and Annie Bell Brown Fredrick, he lived a full and rewarding life. After 33 years of employment with Avaya, he retired in 2001 having 33 years of service.
Cherished memories will linger on with his wife Ardinia (Dino) Fredrick, his daughters Sharon McDowell(Richard) and Loretta Hunt(Mike); his son Frederick Carroll (Patti); granddaughters; DeAndrea Heard, Demetria James(Glenn) and Jaszpine Alexis Lee Carroll; grandsons; De’Trevious Heard, Melchizedek and Christopher Swedburg; great-grandchildren, Marcion Fredrick, Madisyn, Glenn,and Milana James; sister Juanita Fredrick; brother Billie Fredrick.
James will lie in repose at Mount Sinai Baptist Church, 1906 Laurel Street on Friday, April 20, 2018 beginning at 10:00 am; family hour 6:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Life’s Celebration will be Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Sinai Baptist Church. Pastor Robert Canada, officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Park West. A life well lived, a crown well won.
